Medical First Aid Training
SNP Medical are specialist providers of First Aid Training and qualifications in the following: Paediatric First Aid, Emergency First Aid & Refreshers, Epipen Training, AED, and Basic Life Support Training.
Designed to give candidates the lifesaving skills needed in the workplace or organisation. We are accredited by Qualsafe Awards, which is an Ofqual recognised awarding organisation, established by experts in the first aid training industry. Our qualifications are all included on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) and Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF).
Our courses can be run on-site at your own premises or off-site at our premises in Leicester, or at a suitable venue of your choosing. All our courses are taught by Health Care Professionals who are able to provide real life experiences on the courses.
All course material and literature is provided and all applicants that successfully pass will receive a recognised certificate.

Intended Audience
The QA Level 2 Award in First Aid Essentials (QCF) qualification has been designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, or
in voluntary and community activities, to provide basic first aid to people they are caring for when dealing with an emergency.
Course Overview
During this 1 day course, Learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of first aid situations, including: managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, choking, external bleeding, shock and minor injuries.
Intended Audience
The QA Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (QCF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who
have a specific responsibility at work, to provide first aid in a range of emergency first aid situations. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide basic first aid in voluntary and community activities.
Course Overview
During this 1 day course, Learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations, including: managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, choking, shock, wounds and bleeding and minor injuries.
Intended Audience
The QA Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support for Adults and Children (QCF) qualification has been designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities to provide basic life support for adults and children. It is also ideal for those who are qualified in providing first aid and are looking to refresh or develop their existing first aid knowledge and skills further.
Course Overview
During this half day course, Learners will be given the opportunity to practise essential basic life support procedures, including: assessing an incident, managing an unresponsive casualty, recovery position, CPR and choking.
The QA Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (QCF) qualification has been designed for those who have a specific interest or responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities to provide BLS when dealing with an emergency situation which may involve using an AED.
Course Overview
Over a half day period, Learners will develop the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of first aid situations and safely use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Intended Audience
The QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) has been specifically designed to meet the criteria set by the Department for Education’s EYFS.
Course Overview
Over a 2 day period, Learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations, including: assessing an emergency situation, dealing with an unresponsive infant or child, CPR, choking, meningitis, head and spinal injuries, anaphylaxis, asthma and more. Intended Audience
The First Aid at Work Annual Refresher (QAR) qualification is specifically designed to allow qualified first aiders to update their first aid skills yearly, until re-qualification training is required.

Over a half day period, Learners will leave with a renewed confidence having had the opportunity to practise essential first aid procedures, including: managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, wounds and bleeding, shock and more.
